Extro Series Fangs Black Rugby Mouthguard SAFEJAWZ
The SAFEJAWZ Extro Series Fangs mouthguard is designed for demanding rugby players who refuse to choose between protection and comfort. Thanks to Fluid Fit™ technology, this Self Fit™ model adapts in seconds to the shape of your teeth without requiring any specific equipment: immersion in hot water, moulding in the mouth, and the ultra-thin fit guarantees maximum retention. You breathe, speak and drink without discomfort during the match or training. Jaw Secure™ technology adds an extra layer of protection for the lower jaw: the impact pads absorb direct shocks, and the pre-occluded base creates an effective buffer that reduces the risk of joint injuries. Matte black design with a fang pattern, this Extro model displays a distinctive style without compromising performance.
How do I mould this mouthguard?
Immerse it in hot water (80°C) for 20 seconds, let it cool for 2 seconds, place it in your mouth and bite firmly for 30 seconds. Rinse with cold water to set the shape.
Does the mouthguard restrict breathing?
No, the ultra-thin Fluid Fit™ fit keeps the airways clear. You can breathe, speak and drink normally during exertion.
How often should it be replaced?
Replace the mouthguard as soon as it shows signs of wear (deformation, deep tooth marks) or after a heavy impact, generally every 6 to 12 months depending on how intensively you play.
Technical Specifications
Care TipsRinse the mouthguard with cold water immediately after each use to remove saliva and residue. Never expose it to temperatures above 60°C outside the initial moulding: heat deforms the EVA and alters the fit. Air dry it, then store it in the ventilated case provided, away from direct light and moisture. A weekly cleaning with a soft toothbrush and mild soap extends its lifespan. DesignSAFEJAWZ developed Fluid Fit™ technology to address a simple problem: a poorly fitting mouthguard does not protect and ends up abandoned in the bag. The thermoformable medical-grade EVA used here offers exceptional shape memory after hot moulding, creating an ultra-thin fit (30% thinner than a standard model) that perfectly follows the dentition without unnecessary bulk. Jaw Secure™ technology adds two key elements: impact pads strategically placed at molar level to absorb lateral shocks, and a pre-occluded base that positions the mandible in optimal alignment, limiting the transmission of impacts to the temporomandibular joint. The Extro Series Fangs black design with raised sculpted fang pattern provides a distinctive visual signature while keeping functional thickness to the strict minimum. BrandSAFEJAWZ has established itself as a global reference in sports mouthguards through a rigorous technical approach: each model is designed with sports dentists to ensure real protection, laboratory-tested to CE standards and validated by thousands of professional athletes. The British brand popularised the concept of the "visible" mouthguard with bold designs that encourage systematic wear: a mouthguard you like to wear is one you actually wear. The Extro Series range targets contact players (rugby, MMA, hockey) who demand reinforced joint protection without sacrificing breathing comfort or on-field communication. |
