Softlock micromesh fabric combines lightness (weight less than 130 g/m²) and mechanical resistance through fine interlaced knit mesh. Micro-perforations distributed across the entire surface create a constant air flow that expels moisture outward: polyester does not absorb water (less than 1% of its weight), perspiration migrates directly through the mesh channels. Ergonomic armholes fit the shoulder-arm junction without rubbing, flat seams under the arms eliminate friction points during rotation movements. The "Retro in micromesh" construction ensures a close-fitting style that does not gape during flexions or vertical jumps. The Welsh feather logo embroidered on the chest withstands more than fifty wash cycles without fraying. Macron developed this model in direct collaboration with the Welsh team to meet the specific requirements of high metabolic intensity training.
